Ajith Kumar is all set to return to the big screens with his upcoming 62nd project, which has been titled Vidaamuyarchi. The movie, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is currently nearing the final stages of its production. The makers of the long-awaited project recently treated the cine-goers by revealing a series of character posters from the film, featuring leading man Ajith Kumar and others, on social media. As per the latest updates, the highly anticipated Vidaamuyarchi teaser is now gearing up for its release.

If the recent updates are to be believed, the makers of the upcoming Ajith Kumar starrer are gearing up to drop a major update on the project, in a few hours. According to the grapevine, the long-awaited Vidaamuyarchi teaser is finally set to have its grand launch very soon - mostly by the beginning of the beginning of next week. The new update has left the Ajith Kumar fans and Tamil cinema audiences, highly excited.

Earlier, it was reported that the Vidaamuyarchi release has been pushed to 2025. The reports suggested that the makers made this decision, as many other big budget projects, including Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan, Suriya’s Kanguva, Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2, and others have taken up all major release slots of 2024. The makers of the film, Lyca Productions, are keen to have a solo global release for the Magizh Thirumeni directorial. However, the recent updates suggest that the team is yet to make a final decision on Vidaamuyarchi release date.

Ajith Kumar is reportedly appearing in the role of Arjun in Vidaamuyarchi, which is scripted by Magizh Thirumeni, himself. The project features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. Arjun Sarja plays the lead antagonist in the film, which features Regina Cassandra, Arav, Nikhil Nair, Ganesh Saravanan, Dasarathi, and others in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music score. Om Prakash is the director of photography. NB Srikanth handles the editing.
