Vidaamuyarchi, an action thriller featuring Ajith Kumar in the principal role, is among the most eagerly awaited upcoming films in Tamil cinema. This project represents the inaugural collaboration between Ajith and director Magizh Thirumeni. Initially slated for a mid-2024 release, the film has experienced several delays for various reasons. However, it is now approaching the final stages of production, as the renowned actor has completed dubbing for his segments.

According to the most recent information, Ajith Kumar has successfully completed the dubbing for his role in Vidaamuyarchi. Sources affiliated with the film directed by Magizh Thirumeni indicate that the actor finalized the dubbing at a studio located in Baku, Azerbaijan. Although Ajith initially planned to return to Chennai to finish the dubbing for Vidaamuyarchi, he was unable to do so due to his commitments to another upcoming project, Good Bad Ugly. This update was shared by Ajith Kumar’s manager, Suresh Chandra, through a recent post on social media.

The recently unveiled teaser for Vidaamuyarchi, featuring prominent actors such as Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra, has garnered significant enthusiasm from both fans and movie enthusiasts. The teaser reveals that this highly anticipated film is an adaptation of the 1997 American thriller, Breakdown. Although the production team has yet to announce an official release date, the teaser indicates that Vidaamuyarchi is set to premiere during Pongal 2025.

In this film, Ajith Kumar takes on the role of the main character, while Trisha Krishnan portrays his estranged wife. Arjun Sarja is cast as the primary antagonist, with Regina Cassandra, Arav, Sravan, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, Ganesh, and others appearing in supporting roles. The musical score and songs for the film are composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematography is managed by Om Prakash and Nirav Shah. The editing is overseen by NB Srikanth.
