The release date for the OTT platform debut of Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan's latest film, Vidaamuyarchi, was announced on Monday. Netflix India took to Instagram to confirm that the film will be available on its platform next month.

Fans can enjoy Vidaamuyarchi on this streaming service. The official account of the platform also shared a promotional poster featuring Ajith from the film. About Vidaamuyarchi

Regarding Vidaamuyarchi, the film features Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra in antagonistic roles. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi premiered in theaters on February 6, having initially been slated for a Pongal 2025 release. The film grossed over ₹70 crore in its opening week.

This film, an adaptation of the 1997 American movie Breakdown, is a gripping, action-filled thriller that narrates the journey of Arjun (portrayed by Ajith), who undertakes a perilous mission to rescue his wife, Kayal (played by Trisha Krishnan), from a notorious group in Azerbaijan.

In its review, the Hindustan Times commented, "The film suffers from considerable lag and predictability; however, Ajith’s refreshing, understated performance and the stunning visuals prevent it from becoming overly burdensome. It is distinctly an Ajith Kumar film, and it appears that the Kollywood star is attempting to break free from his established image with this unconventional road trip narrative. Trisha has delivered a commendable performance as Kayal."
