Vidaamuyarchi Vs Thunivu box office collection details

Ajith Kumar’s previous film, Thunivu, achieved Rs 24.40 crore in Indian net collections on its opening day, which was January 11, 2023. The worldwide collection for Thunivu stood at Rs 39.60 crore, as per Sacnilk's data.

It is important to note that only the Indian collection figures for Vidaamuyarchi are currently available, and we must await the worldwide totals to determine if it has surpassed Thunivu's opening day collection of Rs 39.60 crore. However, in terms of Indian net collections, Thunivu currently leads with Rs 24.40 crore compared to Vidaamuyarchi’s Rs 22 crore on its first day.

Despite this, the strong opening at the box office is promising for Vidaamuyarchi as it approaches its first weekend. There are no other major Tamil releases scheduled in the immediate future. However, the Telugu film Thandel, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, could present competition for Vidaamuyarchi if it performs well at the Tamil Nadu box office, as it is set to release on February 7, 2025.

Thunivu, under the direction of H Vinoth, featured performances by Ajith Kumar, Manju Warrier, and Samuthirakani.
