Vidaa Muyarchi: Key cast members of Ajith Kumar’s film begin dubbing for Magizh Thirumeni's directorial

We had earlier reported that actor Ajith Kumar is doing a Tamil film titled Vidaa Muyarchi for Lyca Productions. Now, the makers gave a new update about the film's progress. The dubbing for Vidaa Muyarchi has commenced with some cast members. A release date is yet to be announced by the makers.

Vidaa Muyarchi's dubbing begins

Actor Ajith, who was last seen in Thunivu, is currently working on two projects, with one of them being Vidaa Muyarchi. The film is directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni, marking his first collaboration with the actor. Vidaa Muyarchi is backed by Lyca Productions and the makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has begun with some cast members.

Vidaa Muyarchi is tipped to be an action thriller film. However, the makers have not revealed much about the plot. Actors Trisha, Aarav, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and others are also part of the film. While a release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers, it is believed that the film was initially set to release on Diwali. However, as per reports, the losses incurred by the production house after the releases of Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan and Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2, the makers have decided to release Vidaa Muyarchi at a later stage.

Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly

Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar is also shooting with director Adhik Ravichandran for a film titled Good Bad Ugly. The film is currently in production and is backed by Hyderabad-based production house Mythri Movie Makers. Recently, Arjun Das announced that he has joined the cast of the film. The film will also feature actor Prasanna.

Good Bad Ugly is scheduled to be released in theatres in January 2025. The film will have music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Abhinandhan Ramanujam is cranking the camera and Vijay Velukutty is the editor. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights.
