The upcoming comedy film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video will feature Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles. The big screen will host the film on October 11, 2024. We now know which OTT partner will stream the film after its theatrical run. Yes, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video will be out on Netflix after a couple of months. Meanwhile, T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films, and Kathavachak Films are producing it, while Raaj Shaandilyaa is both a writer and director of the film.

In Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, newlyweds Vicky and Vidya plan to film their first night together after their 1997 wedding as a memento for years to come. However, everything goes awry when someone steals the CD containing the video. Before things escalate, the pair frantically rushes to retrieve it.

The film's subject matter is an intimate video, as the title indicates. Nevertheless, as per Bollywood Hungama, the movie experienced a few audio cuts. The CBFC Examining Committee requested that the producers cut out or change offensive language such as "Vakeel," "Sardaar," "UP Police," and "Gurudwara." They edited or muffled "Haramipana" at a crucial point, and they censored "Bahan ka...maroom" during the first half. 

CBFC inserted an anti-smoking static message within a smoking scenario. Strict adherence to these guidelines led to the official U/A certification of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video on October 7. Two hours, thirty-two minutes, and five seconds make up its total running time of 152.05 minutes.

Raaj Shaandilyaa’s perspective on the film’s theme

Earlier, during an interaction with Mid Day, Shaandilyaa spoke about Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, stating that the country has a very secretive population, but new babies are being born all the time. Now more than ever, a video may gain millions of views in a matter of seconds. To reach this middle-class demographic, they decided to create an entertaining and romantic video with a message. Another topic he wanted to explore was the suffering of those they ridiculed. Simultaneously, they aimed to investigate the emotions of individuals residing in small towns confronted with this challenge.
