Chhaava Declared Tax-Free in Madhya Pradesh & Goa

The film Chhaava, which depicts the life of one of the most esteemed rulers of the Maratha Empire, has been officially declared tax-exempt in Goa by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. In a recent post on his X account, Sawant expressed his enthusiasm, stating: "छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज की जय! I am delighted to announce that the film Chhaava, which highlights the life and sacrifices of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be tax-free in Goa."

He continued, "This film, showcasing the bravery and dedication of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj for Dev, Desh, and Dharma, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal, brings our glorious history to the forefront. The sacrifices made by the second Chhatrapati of the Hindavi Swarajya, who courageously resisted the Mughals and the Portuguese, serve as a source of inspiration for all of us. देश धरम पर मिटने वाला। शेर शिवा का छाया था।। महापराक्रमी परम प्रतापी। एक ही शंभू राजा था।।"

Additionally, it is noteworthy that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also declared on Wednesday that the film would be tax-free in his state.
