The world of Venom is finally taking over the big screen yet again as Venom: The Last Dance releases today across the globe, and fans are eagerly rallying to see what the swan song for Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy, and the Symbiote will look like. Ever since the film was announced, it has piqued the curiosity of many, as people wanted to know how closely it would now be tied to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). There were rumors that it could be laying the groundwork for Tom Hardy’s Venom to transition into the MCU and join Peter Parker in defeating Knull, who is being introduced in Venom 3. Adding to the excitement was the possibility that we might see Tom Holland slinging webs in Hardy's starrer, which had fans buzzing. But did Holland make it? Let's find out. 

Does Spider-Man Appear in Venom 3?

However, he is soon pulled back into his universe, and the movie focuses on Venom’s race to save himself from the government and other threats, including Knull and his Xenophages (Symbiote hunters).

So, if you’re looking for a straight answer to whether Tom Holland appears in the movie, it's a NO. Neither does the actor appear at any point, nor does any character mention him or his timeline. This leaves the post-credit scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage unresolved, with no follow-up. This is the scene where Venom learns about Peter Parker after being transported to Earth-616, where Parker has been exposed as Spider-Man.

Is Tom Hardy Joining Spider-Man 4?

According to Comic Book Movie, Tom Hardy has revealed that he doesn’t see himself joining Spider-Man 4, and the reason is quite interesting. “I don't see him in the next Spider-Man movie because I don’t have the script,” he said. While Hardy’s statement could be truthful, there's speculation that he might be keeping things under wraps. His cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home and his interaction with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in Venom: Let There Be Carnage’s post-credit scene suggest that both studios will need to address these moments at some point.

Meanwhile, speaking at New York Comic Con last weekend, Tom Hardy discussed his exit from the Venom franchise. “Well, it’s been seven years to this day... I’ve absolutely loved playing Eddie and Venom. It’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life, so it’ll be sad to see him go.” He added, “I would like to fight Spider-Man. I would like to fight him right now. In a movie, 100%. I would never say never.”
