The world of Spider-Man has branched out so extensively that keeping track of it all is next to impossible. Amid the chatter around everything Marvel, Sony, and Amazon, one of the most anticipated movies from the Spider-Man lore has gone into reshoots. You already know what we are talking about: it is indeed Venom: The Last Dance, aka Venom 3. A highly anticipated movie, the Tom Hardy starrer has grabbed most of the headlines in the superhero realm with its numerous updates. However, the most exciting ones are its connection to the ongoing Spider-Man timeline, including the alleged mention of the Symbiote piece left behind on Earth 616 and the possibility of them uniting on screen. 

Venom 3 Set Video Hints Spider-Man Connection

We cannot dismiss this possibility because this is the last hurrah for the character in the standalone world, and Sony would likely want to end it with a bang. Meanwhile, Marvel will also want the two to meet because they are needed in Avengers: Secret Wars. There is a long story to cover before that, requiring a couple of films. Now, according to the latest update, set videos have gone viral as Tom Hardy shoots for Venom 3, all pointing out one thing: the setup resembles Peter Parker’s neighborhood. The world has been hooked to every possible update from the Venom 3 sets, and this one is by far the closest it comes to the Spider-Man in Venom: The Last Dance rumor. The video shows Tom Hardy walking on a New York street, shooting a probable filler scene. There is a lot of commotion on the street, and we see Tom emerge from the crowd. While the scene itself may not reveal much, the setup indicates he is in Peter Parker’s neighborhood.

If you look closely, Eddie Brock can be seen walking on a street where we have seen Spider-Man walk or sling his web many times. This could mean many things, but that doesn't stop fans from forming theories. The internet is buzzing with excitement because we might finally get the union we have been waiting for a long time.

About Venom: The Last Dance

Sony Motion Pictures Group Chairman Tom Rothman was at the Cannes Film Festival, where he revealed that Venom: The Last Dance is the last film in the franchise. As per Deadline, he said, "Let me tell you when the last of the Spider-Verse movies comes with Phil Lord and Chris Miller, it's going to be a significant event, as will the next Tom Holland Spider-Man film. And when all the Karate Kid storylines come together with Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan and a new young karate kid. For those fans, that's going to be a significant moment. We have those. The third and last Venom is going to be huge."
