Anil Ravipudi is a star director in Telugu cinema and has not given a single flop in his career. We at OTTplay have already reported that Anil has teamed up with star hero Venkatesh for a crime comedy which is being produced by Dil Raju. The film was also announced on a grand note a few months ago.

Well, the latest update is that the shooting of the film kick-started a few days ago in Hyderabad, and today, August 14, 2024, Venkatesh has joined the sets. Sporting a stylish new beard, Venkatesh is seen shooting some family scenes with his director, Anil. The glimpses of the same have been showcased in the promo released by the makers. 

The film is being shot in Pollace on a specially erected set, and a few notable faces are also participating. Aishwarya Rajesh plays Venkatesh's wife in this film, which also has Meenakshi Chaudhary as the other lead. The film is about an ex-military man, his wife, and his ex-girlfriend.

Anil Ravipudi has already done two films with Venkatesh, and this is the third time they have joined hands. This is also the reason the film is having a solid craze in the trade circles. Venkatesh's last film, Saindhav, was a huge flop at the box office. The action drama was directed by Sailesh Kolanu and had Nawazuddin Siddique in a negative role.

So, Venkatesh has pinned all his hopes on Anil Ravipudi's project, as the audience loves him in comedy films. The makers have already announced that the film will be out in January 2025 as a Sankranthi special.  Upendra Limaye of Animal fame, Rajendra Prasad, VTV Ganesh, and several others play key roles in this comedy caper. Watch this space for more updates.
