The Tamil rural action-drama film Sir, featuring actor Vemal in the principal role, has recently become available for streaming on the Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium applications. Sir is the newest addition to the Tamil films accessible on this platform, which provides a diverse range of streaming content in the regional language.

Actor Vemal recently featured in the rural action drama titled Sir, where he took on the role of a school teacher. The film, which is both written and directed by Bose Venkat, includes a brief cameo by the director himself. Following its theatrical release, the film is now accessible for streaming on the Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium platforms. Sir represents the latest entry in Aha Tamil’s content offerings.

Set in a rural environment, Sir is a period drama that focuses on a family of educators. Vemal portrays the third generation of teachers at the local school, navigating the challenges posed by the village's deep-rooted issues of caste and oppression, which create hardships for both the residents and the children. The film features Vemal in the lead role, supported by a cast that includes Chaya Devi Kannan, Siraj S, Saravanan, Rama, Jaiya Balan, among others.

Bose Venkat, who is responsible for both the story and screenplay, directs the film, which is produced by Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company. The technical team includes Iniyan J Harish as the cinematographer and Siddhu Kumar composing the music, while Sreejith Sarang is in charge of the editing.

Stream Aha Tamil’s Sshhh anthology now

In addition to this, Aha Tamil has unveiled its newest anthology titled Sshhh, which comprises four segments. Each segment runs for less than thirty minutes and addresses the significance of sex education while exploring sensitive subjects such as sexuality and desire.

Sshhh showcases performances by actors including Srikanth, Ineya, Soniya Agarwal, Aishwarya Dutta, Mime Gopi, along with several emerging talents. The anthology is directed by a team of filmmakers, including Prithivi Adithya, Vaali Mohan Das, Harish GY, and IB Karthikeyan.
