Actor Vikram's newest film, Veera Dheera Sooran, was scheduled for release today; however, several screenings have been cancelled due to ongoing legal disputes. According to a report by Times Now, B4U filed a petition with the Delhi High Court on Wednesday, seeking to delay the film's release until their concerns with the production company, HR Pictures, are resolved.

The report indicates that Veera Dheera Sooran encountered legal issues on its release day. Morning screenings before 10 am were canceled at PVR and Cinepolis theaters, with shows anticipated to resume in the afternoon. B4U is seeking compensation from the film's producer, Riya Shibu, for allegedly failing to fulfill the contract regarding the sale of the film's OTT rights before its theatrical release.

According to reports, the Delhi High Court issued an interim stay on the film's release until 10:30 am on Thursday, resulting in the cancellation of the 9 am screenings. Sun News has reported that the producer was instructed to promptly deposit ₹7 crore and submit all relevant documents about the case within 48 hours. Additionally, 123Telugu noted that the film's premiere screenings in the United States were also canceled due to these legal issues.

Veera Dheera Sooran, also known as Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is helmed by director SU Arun Kumar. The film features a musical score by GV Prakash Kumar and includes performances by SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (marking his debut in Tamil cinema), Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique.

A prequel, Part 1, is planned but has not yet commenced production. The storyline centers on Kaali, a family man and provision store owner entangled in a perilous crime syndicate and a cryptic mission.

Before its release, Vikram actively promoted the film, leading to disappointment among fans who had purchased tickets for the morning screenings. The team behind Veera Dheera Sooran has not yet publicly addressed this concern.
