Actor Vikram teamed up with director SU Arun Kumar for the release of Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, which hit theaters on Thursday. However, the launch faced some bumps along the way. The first-day shows at 9 am and the afternoon screenings were disrupted due to cancellations stemming from legal complications, as a court issued a stay order on the film. Once the issues were resolved, screenings for Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 resumed at 5 pm on Thursday and are now playing in theaters without any interruptions.

In its first three days, the film has earned Rs 12.79 crore at the domestic box office across both Tamil and Telugu markets. It received a largely positive response, and the filmmakers are hoping that good word of mouth will boost ticket sales over the Eid weekend.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 cast and crew

Directed and written by SU Arun Kumar, this action thriller stars Vikram in the lead role. Alongside him, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 features Dushara Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, SJ Suryah, and more. The film's music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with Theni Eswar handling the cinematography.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is actually the sequel, with the first part yet to be released. The story focuses on the conflict between a police officer and a powerful family in a village. When the main character, a former hitman for the family, is summoned for one last job, the film delves into the events that unfold over a single night involving all three parties.
