Actor Vikram, renowned for his outstanding performances, is featured in the 2025 Tamil action thriller film Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. In a distinctive move, the producers opted to launch the sequel prior to the release of its prequel. The film is penned and directed by SU Arun Kumar.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 experienced a challenging debut, with the first day’s shows, including the FDFS and noon screenings, being canceled due to legal complications. The film commenced screening at 5 pm and is currently being shown in theaters. Taking advantage of the Eid weekend, it has reportedly garnered Rs 26 crore thus far, according to a Sacnilk report. Upon its release, Veera Dheera Sooran received a mixed to positive response. In addition to Vikram, the cast includes Dushara Vijayan, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, marking his debut in Tamil cinema.

Vikram has confirmed the production of Veera Dheera Sooran Parts 1 and 3.

To clarify any confusion regarding the film's title, director SU Arun Kumar and his team opted to release the sequel first. During a recent visit to a theater, Vikram announced that they are indeed planning to create parts one and three, which will delve deeper into the characters of Dileep and Venkat.

The narrative of Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 centers on the conflict between a police officer and a powerful family in a village. As both parties seek vengeance against one another, the main character, a former henchman, finds himself entangled in their feud.
