John Abraham is all set to bring another high-octane action-thriller with Vedaa. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film also stars Sharvari in the lead role and promises to keep the audiences on the edge of their seats. The trailer of Vedaa was released with positive feedback from the audience. The maar-dhaad trailer reveals that the film deals with the subject of caste oppression. the narrative of the film follows the story of an ex-Army officer, Abhimanyu, played by John Abraham, who helps an ordinary girl named Vedaa, played by Sharvari, to join hands with him so they can fight against systematic oppression. The trailer promises to deliver unprecedented action sequences with a strong narrative.

Vedaa Cast and Crew

Vedaa stars John Abraham and Sharvari in the lead roles. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Mahadev Singh Lakhawat, Kapil Nirmal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajendra Chawla, Kshitij Chauhan, and Kumud Mishra, among others. 

The film marks John's reunion with director Nikkhil Advani after their successful collaboration with Batla House. The film is produced by Zee Studios with Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. 

Vedaa Release date

Vedaa is scheduled to be released on the occasion of Independence Day. The film will clash with now one but two other Bollywood films - Khel Khel Mein, starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, and Fardeen Khan, among others, and Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein are also scheduled to be released on the same day, i.e., August 15.
