The makers of upcoming Tamil film, Vasco Da Gama, have released its trailer today (July 21). It offers a glimpse into a hilarious experience for the audience. August 2 is when the comedy drama, which was directed by debutante R G Krishnan, is scheduled to premiere on big screens. This project, whose title is an acronym for the names of the main characters in the movie, stars Nakkhul as the protagonist.

The two minute video features Nakkhul's character as a member of a brigade that swears to "keep drinking to contribute to the government's, to divide the nation based on caste, religion, and greed, and disrupt the peace of the people." It is shown as to these characters are living in a satirical world.

This world is humorously depicted as being populated by thieves, human traffickers, drug dealers, and killers who are driven by materialism and greed. Abruptly, we witness the antagonist of Vamsi Krishna hatch a sinister scheme while a farce takes place. Nakkhul plays the role of Vasudevan, nephew of Munishkanth’s character.

In the film, Mottai Rajendran, Munishkanth, and K S Ravikumar will portray important roles. The film's female lead is portrayed by Arthana Binu. Arun N V composed the music for the film, which also featured editing by Tamil Kumaran and cinematography by Vanchinathan Murugesan.

The trailer for the movie was unveiled in Chennai yesterday (July 21). To further highlight her brother's accomplishments, Devayani, actress and elder sister of Nakkhul, attended the function as a chief guest. Devayani lauded Nakkhul's confidence and expressed her belief that he will make a huge hit with Vasco Da Gama. She also gave an explanation for why Nakkhul is not doing regular films, saying that the talented actor is waiting for the ideal opportunity to make his breakthrough and is careful to choose the right subjects and filmmakers. His last film was Sei in 2018.
