Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has an intriguing lineup of films in the pipeline, including Border 2 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. He has been engaged in the shooting of JP Dutta's war drama in Jhansi for an extended period. Recent reports indicate that Varun may take a hiatus from filming by the conclusion of February 2025. Following his break from Border 2, Dhawan is set to transition to Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, where he will film a dance sequence alongside Janhvi Kapoor.

Varun Dhawan is set to film an extravagant dance sequence for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. This opulent dance number, featuring both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, is scheduled to be shot on a specially designed set in Madh Island from February 24 to February 28. Although the main filming for the movie concluded in September 2024, this particular dance sequence remained to be completed.

Only one song remains to be completed. Shashank is seeking a lively track that embodies the film's cheerful spirit. In his earlier works, the director has produced well-received dance numbers, such as "Saturday Saturday" from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and the title song from Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). He aims for another dynamic and catchy tune this time, as reported by a source to Mid-Day.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will also star Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Sanya Malhotra. The film is set to be released in theatres on April 18, 2025.

An official announcement regarding the filming of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari was made in May 2024. Maniesh Paul, a member of the cast, shared a video on his Instagram account.

While sharing it on IG, the actor shared, "Love, laughter, and family - Sunny Sanskari & Tulsi Kumari’s heartwarming journey with their family begins today. Send love & blessings! SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025! (sic)."
