2027 years ago | 5 Views
Valentine's Day just got a major upgrade for all the Wooga Squad fans! Two of our favorite members are set to drop a surprise on February 14 this year. That's right! Park Hyung-sik and Choi Woo-shik will both be releasing their K-Dramas on the same day—Valentine's Day! So, for all the singles out there swooning over the Wooga Squad, don’t fret; these two have got your back (at least for this year). Here’s the scoop on their upcoming K-Dramas....
Park Hyung-sik's Buried Hearts is all about exploring deep emotions and connections
Park Hyung-sik's Buried Hearts features Heo Joon-ho in a key supporting role. This gripping revenge drama follows Seo Dong-ju (played by Park Hyung-sik) and Yeom Jang-seon (Heo Joon-ho) as they navigate their way through the Daesan Group. The series is set to deliver a story filled with ambition, vengeance, and the dark side of power.
Choi Woo-shik's latest romantic film is all about the feels
If you're looking for something a bit lighter and more playful for Valentine's Day, check out Choi Woo-shik and Park Bo-young's Melo Movie. It's a fun yet complicated love-hate story that also stars Lee Jun-young and Jeon So-nee. The film follows Mubi (played by Bo-young), who dreams of becoming a filmmaker, and her boyfriend, portrayed by Woo-shik, who becomes a film critic after ghosting her. Now, these former enemies are back at it again, but can they really stay that way? Melo Movie dives into that question.
What are the other members of the Wooga Squad doing?
Wooga Squad is made up of Hyung-sik, Woo-shik, and a couple of other talented folks, including a well-known singer and a rapper. Park Seo-jun is the other main actor in the group, and he hasn't announced what he's working on next. There's some exciting talk that he might star alongside Won Ji-an from Squid Game 2 in a new K-Drama called Waiting for Gyeongdo. The story revolves around childhood friends who fall in love in their 20s, get separated, and then find their way back to each other in a surprising twist.
Taehyung, one of the lead vocalists of BTS, is currently serving in the South Korean military and is set to be discharged in June. Known as V, there's a lot of speculation that he might join the cast of Squid Game 3, which would mark his return to acting after Hwarang, where he shared the screen with Hyung-sik and Seo-jun.
Rapper Peakboy is also part of Wooga Squad and has been focused on his music career from the beginning. He hasn't taken on any acting roles yet, aside from his appearance in In The Soop: Friendcation, mainly because he feels a bit shy about being in front of the camera.
