Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya are getting ready for the launch of their new movie, Sky Force. Veer, who is Shikhar Pahariya's brother, will be stepping into Bollywood for the first time under the direction of Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur. This film aims to stir up feelings of patriotism with its intense storyline. As the release date approaches, here’s all the info you need about this exciting action flick. 

Sky Force storyline

The plot focuses on India's relentless assault on the Sargodha airbase in Pakistan during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war, which was India's inaugural airstrike. This attack was the most devastating airstrike Pakistan had ever faced. The movie aims to honor India's unsung heroes, highlighting their bravery, sacrifices, and strong bonds.

Sky Force team and talent

The movie features Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Making his Bollywood debut alongside him is Veer Pahariya. The cast also includes the talented Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in key roles. Akshay will portray Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, while Veer takes on the character of Squadron Leader A B Devayya. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik.

The much-awaited movie is set to premiere in theaters on January 24, 2025. From what we see in the trailer, it looks like a fantastic, uplifting, and patriotic way to kick off the year.

The film is said to have received a UA 13+ rating from the CBFC. Also, the runtime for Sky Force has been announced, and it’s surprisingly 125 minutes long (that’s 2 hours and 5 minutes). If this is accurate, it could be the shortest Akshay Kumar film we've seen in quite a while.
