Kishore's movie Vadakkan, said to be the first paranormal film in Malayalam, has received a lot of love at various international film festivals. With its theatrical release set for March 7, 2025, the team has just dropped a trailer that takes audiences to a creepy island.

The trailer shows Kishore and a few others heading to a secluded spot in Kerala. It hints at an untouched force that gets unleashed on this cursed land. 

Shruthy Menon and Merin Philip join Kishore in this eerie setting where a sinister force is clearly at play. A voiceover warns, “Demonic energy strikes when you’re at your lowest.”

Kishore, portraying a paranormal investigator, is on a quest for answers while others frantically look for ways to flee and find assistance.

The trailer also showcases folklore characters from northern Kerala, building up to an electrifying conclusion that ends with the recently released Kettingo song.  

The Vadakkan trailer, with its eerie visuals and haunting soundtrack, really ramps up the excitement for this supernatural thriller. Horror movie enthusiasts are definitely going to want to catch Vadakkan when it hits theaters in Kerala on March 7, 2025.

Kishore stars alongside Shruthy Menon and Merin Philip in this film directed by A Sajeed. The script for Vadakkan comes from the talented Unni R, who’s known for his work on hits like Munnariyippu featuring Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie, and the praised Ozhivudivasathe Kali. The sound design is handled by Academy Award winner Resul Pookutty, and the cinematography is in the hands of Keiko Nakahara. Recently, the team dropped the song Kettingo, with music by Bijibal, lyrics by B K Hari Narayanan, and vocals from Bhadra Rajin.
