A journalist, portrayed by Kishore, is in for a shock when he shows up for an interview one evening only to find his interviewee dead. This unexpected twist is at the heart of Anamadheya Ashok Kumar, a gripping thriller crafted by Sagar Kumar, hitting theaters on February 7. The film's trailer, featuring Harshil Koushik as the investigating officer, is now available and gives a glimpse into the crime's details, but keeps the identity of the culprit and their motives under wraps.

There were only three people in the house when the crime happened, and since Kishore is the only one left, it’s pretty clear that he’s the main suspect. But the real question is whether he actually did it or if he’s just being set up as a scapegoat. Could he even just be a bystander? These are the mysteries that Harshil needs to unravel.

Kishore even points out that when the police can’t find the real criminal, they often just blame whoever is around, suggesting that he might be in the same boat. The film, Anamadheya Ashok Kumar, features actors like Kantharaj Kaddipudi, Sudheendran Nair, Veeresh K M, Gagana, and Nagaraj, and its title is inspired by the Indian legal term for an unidentified person, similar to John Doe in the U.S. and U.K. legal systems.

Kishore mentioned that he was really drawn to the film not just because he got to play a journalist, a job he holds in high regard, but also because of the message the filmmaker wanted to share. Since the movie was made on a tight budget, he felt it was important to contribute and help support content-driven cinema.
