Ullozhukku, the highly acclaimed drama film directed by Christo Tomy, is one of the most loved films produced by the Malayalam film industry in recent times. Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvothu played the lead roles in the film, which marked the feature film debut of director Christo Tomy, After its successful theatrical run, the acclaimed movie has finally had its much-awaited OTT release. Ullozhukku is currently available for streaming on the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.

Ullozhukku on Amazon Prime Video

As per the latest updates, Ullozhukku is currently available to stream on the popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The Urvazhi and Parvathy Thiruvothu starrer, which had its OTT release today (August 2, 2024), is now available for streaming on the platform only in Malayalam. If the reports are to be believed, the dubbed other language versions of Ullozhukku might be available on OTT in a few days. However, there is no official confirmation on the same, so far.

Ullozhukku: Plot, cast and crew

The highly acclaimed Christo Tony directorial revolves around the complex yet heartwarming relationship of Leelamma, a widowed Malayali woman, and her daughter-in-law Anju. Urvashi delivered a fantastic performance as Leelamma in Ullozhukku. Parvathy Thiruvothu, on the other hand, effectively played the role of her daughter-in-law Anju, who hides a big secret. The exceptional camaraderie between the popular actresses is one of the biggest positives of the film.

Arjun Radhakrishnan appears in the role of Anju’s lover Rajeev (voice dubbed by popular actor Roshan Mathew) in the movie, which is scripted by director Christo Tomy, himself. Prashanth Murali plays Thomas Kutty, the chronically ill son of Leelamma, and Anju’s husband. Veenah Naair, Shebin Benson, Alencier Ley Lopez, Jaya Kurup, Smruthi Anish, Alexander Attupuram, and others play the supporting roles. Sushin Shyam composed the music for Ullozhukku. Shehnad Jalal is the director of photography. Kiran Das handles the editing. The project is produced by RSVP Movies and MacGuffin Pictures.
