Turbo on OTT: Where to watch Mammootty’s action-comedy film in Tamil and Telugu?

Turbo, the recent Malayalam superhit film that the theatres in May 2024, featured Mammootty in the lead role. The project marked the megastar’s reunion with hitmaker Vysakh, after the massive success of Madhura Raja. The veteran actor played the central character Turbo Jose in the film, which features Raj B Shetty as the lead antagonist. After its successful run in the theatres, Turbo is gearing up to have its grand OTT release on the popular streaming platform Sony LIV, on August 9, 2024.

Turbo on OTT – Where to watch the film in Tamil and Telugu?

As reported earlier, Turbo is gearing to have its OTT release on Sony LIV, on August 9, 2024. The Vysakh directorial is expected to stream on the popular platform from midnight, on Friday. The latest updates suggest that the Mammootty starrer will be available for streaming in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, on the famous platform. However, there are no updates on the OTT release of other language versions, including Marathi and Arabic, so far.

Turbo – Plot, cast and crew

The superhit action-comedy film revolves around the central character Aruvipurathu Jose aka Turbo Jose, who is forced to relocate to Chennai after he gets involved in a problem related to his friend Jerry and a girl named Indhulekha Nair. After reaching Chennai, Jose gets into the bad books of Vetrivel Shamugha Sundaram, a local goon. Mammootty plays Jose in the film which features Raj B Shetty in the role of Vetrivel.


Shabareesh Varma played the role of Jerry, while Anjana Jayaprakash appeared as Indhulekha. Senior actress Bindu Panicker played the role of Jose’s mother Aruvippurathu Rosa Kutty in the film which stars Vijay Sethupathi in a voice appearance as antagonist Vetrivel’s business parter. Sunil, Dileesh Pothan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Niranjana Anoop, Robo Shankar, Kunchan, Johny Antony, VTV Ganesh, Abu Salim, and others appear in the supporting roles. Christo Xavier composed the music for the movie, which is distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
