Interestingly, the action-comedy film has also set a new milestone in Karnataka, by receiving the highest number of screens for a Malayalam film in the state, yet. All these reports and the increasing pre-release hype suggest that Turbo is set to have a double-digit opening at the worldwide box office on its Day 1 at the theatres.

If the Mammootty-starrer succeeds in impressing the audience, the film is confirmed to have 100 to 150 extra shows across Kerala, right from the evening of its release. In that case, Turbo might set a record with its opening collection at the worldwide box office. Trade experts also suggest that Turbo has the potential to emerge as the sixth blockbuster of 2024, after Premalu, Manjummel Boys, Aadujeevitham, Aavesham, and the currently running Guruvayoorambala Nadayil. As reported earlier, the movie made with a whopping budget of Rs. 60 crore, is the most expensive project in the career of its leading man Mammootty, who has also produced the film under his home banner Mammootty Kampany.
