Turbo Box Office Collection Day 8 – Mammootty and Vysakh, the popular actor-director reunited for the action-comedy film, after a long gap of five years. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the audiences and critics, Turbo succeeded in earning super hit status at the box office and crossed the Rs. 60 crore mark just within the first week of its release. However, the recent updates suggest that the Mammootty starrer has slowed down a bit at the box office, as it stepped into the second week of release.

According to the recent updates from trade experts, Turbo collected over Rs. 60 crore by the end of Day 7 at the releasing centers. The movie has reportedly collected over Rs. 63.5 crore at the worldwide box office, when it completed its first 8 days of release. On the other hand, the Kerala box office collection is expected to touch the Rs. 25 crore mark very soon. Regarding all India collections, the Mammootty starrer has already crossed the Rs. 25 crore mark.

Turbo slows down at the box office

However, the Mammootty starrer has slowed down at the box office, especially in Kerala. The heavy rain in the state, which is followed by the cloudburst in Kochi, has impacted the box office performance of Turbo. The action-comedy film, which was originally expected to cross the Rs. 75 crore mark at the worldwide box office within the first week of its release, has witnessed a major drop in its Kerala collections.

If things proceed at the same rate, Turbo might not be able to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark at the box office, as predicted before. The early arrival of monsoon season in Kerala has made things further difficult for the films, which are currently running at the theatres. However, the Mammootty starrer is continuing its successful run in other areas, especially overseas centers, now. In that case, the Vysakh directorial might end its theatrical run with a lifetime collection of around Rs. 80 crore.
