Turbo Box Office Collection Day 5 – Mammootty and director Vysakh reunited after a long gap of five years for the action-comedy film, which hit the theatres on May 23, 2024. The movie, which features Mammootty as the titular character Turbo Jose, was made with a whopping budget of over Rs. 60 crore. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Turbo is performing extremely well at the box office and crossed Rs. 50 crore mark within its first weekend. When it completed 5 days of release, the superhit movie is set to beat Bramayugam at the all-India box office.

Turbo Box Office Collection Day 5 – Set to beat Bramayugam

As per the recent updates, Turbo has made a total worldwide collection of over Rs. 52.11 crore, within the first 4 days (first weekend) of its release. The trade experts suggest that the Mammootty starrer has the chance to collect over Rs. 57 crore by the end of Day 5 at the theatres. Interestingly, the Vysakh directorial minted around Rs. 21 crore from the Kerala box office, and over Rs. 7 crore from the rest of India’s release centers, so far.

In that case, it is now safe to assume that Turbo will surpass the lifetime all-India collection of Bramayugam, the previous release of the megastar which hit the theatres in February 2024, by the end of Day 6 at the theatres. For the uninitiated, the black-and-white period drama helmed by Rahul Sadasivan made a total worldwide collection of over Rs. 60 crore within its lifetime run at the theatres. Turbo is expected to surpass the lifetime collection of Mammootty’s Bramayugam, by the end of its first week at the worldwide box office.

Turbo to enter the Rs. 100 crore club soon

If things proceed at the same rate, Mammootty and Vysakh’s latest outing will enter the Rs. 100 crore club of the Malayalam film industry, by the end of its second weekend at the theatres. Despite the heavy rainfall in Kerala and mixed reviews from the critics, Turbo is in no mood to slow down at the box office. As expected, the action-comedy film has been performing exceptionally well in both Kerala and overseas centers, especially the UAE and GCC box office.
