Akhil Paul and Anas Khan have written and directed the film "Identity," featuring Tovino Thomas and Trisha in the leading roles, alongside Vinay Roy, Mandira Bedi, and others in significant parts. The production is managed by Raju Malliyath and Roy CJ. Released in Malayalam, the film has garnered over 50 crores within two weeks, marking it as the first successful film of 2025. The musical score is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while Akhil George handled the cinematography, and Chaman Chacko took care of the editing. The film is now being presented to the Telugu audience by Movie Max's Srinivas Mamidala and Sri Vedakshara Movies' Chintapalli Rama Rao, with a release scheduled for the Telugu states on the 24th of this month. The Telugu trailer was unveiled today in Hyderabad, attended by the film's team.

During the event, Mamidala Srinivas expressed gratitude to all attendees of the trailer launch, stating, "We aimed to bring this film to the Telugu audience. It premiered in Malayalam on January 2nd and has already achieved over 40 crores in revenue. Due to the presence of other films during Sankranthi, we could not release it simultaneously. Therefore, we have chosen the 24th of this month for the Telugu release. The action sequences featuring our Telugu star in this film are expected to be impressive. Given the positive reception in Malayalam, we anticipate a similar response in Telugu. Unfortunately, Tovino Thomas and Trisha were unable to attend this event for unspecified reasons. The directors have approached this project with great care. I wish this film tremendous success and am pleased to see the directors participating in this event."

Chintapalli Rama Rao expressed his gratitude, stating, "I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the media representatives, friends, and close associates who participated in this event. The film 'Identity' has garnered remarkable success with impressive box office collections in this new year. We are collaborating with Mamidala Srinivasa Rao to release this film in Telugu.
