Yash is preparing for his significant return to the cinema with the film Toxic. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, this project is said to be nearing the completion of its production phase. Filming commenced earlier, with a major schedule completed in Mumbai, followed by additional shooting in Goa. The team has now initiated its fourth shooting schedule in Bengaluru, where Yash is collaborating with four prominent female stars.

Toxic Bengaluru shoot update

Yash collaborated with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi during the filming in Bengaluru, as reported by Cinema Express. While each actor had previously completed certain segments of the film in earlier schedules, their significant contributions were made during the Bengaluru shoot.

Sources indicate that the rapport among the actors is quite apparent, with reports highlighting a strong bond on set. Additionally, Huma Qureshi, who recently released her book titled Zeba, took the opportunity to gift copies of her book to all the cast members.

Recently, the initial official visuals from the highly anticipated film, Toxic, featuring the superstar, were unveiled. This birthday reveal showcases Yash, attired in a custom-made four-piece suit and hat, smoking a cigar as he makes his entrance into a club. Inside, men are seen exchanging handshakes with women in minimal attire, while alcohol and drugs are abundantly present. It is reported that Yash portrays a drug lord in this period piece.

Toxic represents the Kannada debut of Geetu Mohandas, a filmmaker and actress from the Malayalam film industry. Nayanthara is reported to have a significant role in the film, while Kiara Advani has been cast as the protagonist's love interest. Additionally, Huma Qureshi will portray an antagonist in the movie.

Furthermore, Toxic was initially set to premiere on April 10, 2025; however, the release date has now been postponed.
