Tovino Thomas and Trisha Krishnan's Malayalam action-thriller is set to start streaming on ZEE5 less than a month after its theatrical debut. Directed by Anas Khan and Akhil Paul, the filmmakers behind Forensic, the movie became the first Malayalam theatrical release of 2025. It will be available for streaming on ZEE5 by the end of this month.

The high-budget action film, which also features Vinay Rai and Shammi Thilakan, hit theatres in Malayalam on January 2, 2025, and its Telugu version began screening on January 24. ZEE5 dropped the trailer on Friday, officially announcing the OTT release date for what will be the platform's first major Malayalam release of the year.

Identity will begin streaming on ZEE5 starting January 31, available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The high-budget film had a solid run at the box office, garnering praise for its intense action sequences, including thrilling stunts performed inside an aircraft.

The story centres on three main characters: police officer Allen (played by Vinay Rai), journalist Alisha (played by Trisha), and Haran (played by Tovino), who is brought in to assist them in tracking down a dangerous killer. Alisha, who has a cognitive condition, recalls the killer’s face, but as the investigation unfolds, the trio grows increasingly suspicious of each other, especially as the stakes continue to rise.
