The movie Tourist Family, featuring Sasikumar and Simran, is receiving some great early buzz. It's set to premiere in theaters on May 1. To build excitement, the team dropped the trailer on social media this Wednesday. This family drama marks the directorial debut of Abishan Jeevinth, and it's also the first time Sasikumar and Simran are working together.

The film's trailer kicks off with a Sri Lankan family of four, where the dad (played by Sasikumar) is giving his younger son tips on what to say if they get stopped by the police. Just then, the Tamil Nadu police catch them by the beach. The little guy claims they got lost and ended up there by accident. The scene then shifts to Tamil Nadu, where Yogi Babu steps in to help the family find refuge by creating fake documents. But they struggle to fit in with the local accent. Things take a serious turn as the immigrant family deals with unemployment and the local police are on their tail. We see various moments of their struggle, and towards the end, there's a funny nod to Vijay's Theri.

The Tourist Family cast features Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi. It's produced by Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan through Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment.
