Crime thrillers have gained significant traction in the Telugu OTT landscape, with a majority of recent web series belonging to this genre. Jio Hotstar is now preparing to launch another compelling crime drama titled Touch Me Not, featuring Navdeep in the leading role.

After an extended production period, the series is finally scheduled to premiere in April 2025. The creators have recently released the first-look poster, which presents the main cast in intense and serious portrayals, heightening viewer anticipation.

Dheekshith Shetty, a prominent star from Kannada cinema, takes on a pivotal role, marking his debut in a Telugu web series. He will be joined by Komalee Prasad and Poonacha Sancho, who will also play significant parts. The series is directed by Ramana Teja, recognized for his earlier work on the film Aswathama.

Touch Me Not is reported to center on a particularly sensitive crime-related theme. An insider associated with the production team disclosed that the narrative explores a perplexing case in which those who seek to reveal the truth encounter fatal repercussions. This captivating concept is also the inspiration for the series' title, Touch Me Not.

Navdeep announces his new show

The series comprises seven episodes and is expected to deliver a gripping thriller experience. Navdeep, who is taking daring steps in his second career phase, will portray a character unlike any he has previously depicted. Director Ramana Teja has emphasized that Navdeep's role will stand out as one of the key features of the show.

Produced with a reasonable budget, the series is anticipated to deliver compelling narratives and thrilling suspense. Although the creators have not yet revealed the official streaming date, they have announced that the teaser will be available next week.
