The poster features a very bloody hand that’s holding the handle of a machete, indicating that the as-yet-untitled film will have a lot of violence and ample bloodshed too. Yuva’s post about his next film also states that the team will reveal the title and first look on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1. It has been rumoured that the film will be called Ekka Raja Rani, but for now, #Yuva2 is what it will be.

While the response to the announcement was largely positive with fans excited about the collaboration, a section of audiences was not pleased that a member of the Rajkumar family would resort to this level of violence in a film. Netizens are particularly displeased because Yuva has been propped us as the successor to the late Puneeth Rajkumar and their contention is that the Power Star or his late father, Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar never had so much bloodshed in any of their films.
