Amit Sial is all set to star in an upcoming family drama titled Tikdam. In 2023, the film was screened at the prestigious International Film Festival of Houston. The movie is now all set to release on the OTT platform soon and before it makes its way to the digital platform, here's everything you need to know about it.

Tikdam, helmed by Vivek Anchalia, will start streaming on Jio Cinema starting on August 23, 2024.

The trailer of the film showcases that the narrative of the movie revolves around a struggling father, played by Amit Sial who has two children. He lives with his family in a small village of Uttarakhand. While he likes to stay where he is and spend time with is kids, his financial situation makes him leave his comfort place to a bigger city to earn more money. 

Going by the trailer, the film seems like a blend of drama with the emotional bond of a family. Will Amit's character be able to leave his children and adjust to a new city or will he fail to make his space in a bigger city? Let's wait and watch the film on August 23 and know!

The film stars Amit Sial in the titular role. It also features Divyansh Dwivedi, Aarohi Sau, Nayan Bhatt, Arisht Jain, and, Ajit Sarwotam Kelkar, among others. Tikdam is directed by Vivek Anchalia and is written by Vivek and Pahlaj Nihalani. The movie is bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Parth Gajjar, Poonam Shroff, Shweta Sharma, and Savio Shenoy.
