Naveen Shankar, who first appeared as a leading actor in the 2018 cyber thriller Gultoo, has meticulously developed a reputation as a thoughtful performer through his roles in films such as Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage, Hondisi Bareyiri, and Kshetrapati. He was recently featured in another unique film titled Nodidavaru Enanthare. This slow-paced narrative of self-discovery premiered in theaters on January 31, 2025, receiving predominantly favorable reviews and successfully completing a 25-day run at the box office.

Nodidavaru Enantare headed to Prime Video

The film has reportedly secured a streaming partner, with Amazon Prime Video set to release Nodidavaru Enantare soon. The production team has uploaded the content and is currently awaiting confirmation from the platform regarding its launch date. Reports suggest that Nodidavaru Enantare may be available for streaming as early as this week, with March 20, 2025, mentioned as a potential release date. At present, the film can be accessed by viewers in the UK and US, but only through transactional video-on-demand services.

In the film, Naveen portrays Siddharth Devaiah, a web designer whose personal and professional life is in disarray. Raised without a mother, who abandoned the family for reasons only she understands, Siddharth grapples with feelings of resentment towards her while also yearning to comprehend her departure. His unresolved issues with his mother impact his romantic relationship, leading to a breakup that causes him to neglect his work. Faced with the potential collapse of his career, Siddharth ultimately decides to relinquish it all upon the loss of the only parent he has ever known. This situation forms the central narrative of Nodidavaru Enantare.

The film, helmed by Kuldeep Cariappa, features performances by Apoorva Bharadwaj, Padmavati Rao, Sonu Gowda, and others. While producing Nodidavaru Enantare, Naveen required a significant physical transformation for a specific scene, necessitating further weight loss. It has been reported that he achieved this through a liquid-only diet, which unfortunately led to him experiencing a mild heart attack.
