Marco's plot and reception

In the film, Unni Mukundan portrays the character Marco, who embarks on a violent quest for vengeance following the murder of his stepbrother.

Marco premiered in theaters on December 20, 2024, as a Christmas offering, alongside Aashiq Abu’s Rifle Club and Suraj Venjaramoodu’s ED Extra Decent, ultimately achieving box office success. The Malayalam film garnered attention from audiences beyond its home state, even displacing screenings of Varun Dhawan’s Baby John in major cities such as Delhi and Mumbai.

This action thriller is set to be available in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu on SonyLiv starting February 14. However, fans from the Hindi-speaking regions are left disappointed, as there has been no announcement regarding the Hindi version of Marco's release on OTT platforms.
