The action drama found no takers for its OTT release, despite having a very compelling narrative and strong performances, as the film bombed at the box office. Aha paid a very small fee to obtain the movie's digital rights. Recently, Payal Rajput’s Rakshana began streaming on the platform.

Intriguing plot of Theppa Samudram received praise

The film's director is Sateesh Rapolu. One of the main actors in the movie, Ravi Shankar, had a negative role, and it was the best performance he gave. Theppa Samudram, a village in the Telangana state, serves as the focal point of the film.

When a few young girls disappear, tensions rise. The case is given to SI Ganesh. However, Indu, the Netra Foundation's founder, also begins looking for the missing girls. When Vijay, who adores Indu, and attorney Vishwanath begin their investigation, the case takes on an entirely new level of intrigue. A startling revelation regarding the missing girls is made during this time. The main plot of the movie revolves around one of the aforementioned characters—who is the criminal and how he is exposed.

There are a number of real-life incidents in Theppa Samudram, and the audience is kept on the edge of their seats by how intense and impressive these incidents appear. The audience finds the story more engaging when there are more characters in it. The second half has handled a few twists pretty well. The film's strongest aspect is how the twists are introduced in a convincing way. Unfortunately, the remainder of the theatrical experience was stale, which quickly caused the movie to be pulled from big screens.
