The teaser of the upcoming Malayalam movie Thekku Vadakku has been revealed by the film's makers, on the occasion of Suraj Venjaramoodu’s birthday. The film's two main actors, Vinayakan and Suraj Venjaramoodu, appear to be portraying two middle-aged men who are at odds, based on glimpses that were recently released.

In the 44-second clip, Suraj shows up and sits next to Vinayakan's character as he reads a newspaper in front of a neighbourhood tea shop. But as soon as they catch a glimpse of one another, the pair turns their backs on each other and turns to leave. It gives the idea that the movie would be a comedy drama even though it does not show the rest of the cast. It is expected that a trailer will be out shortly, providing insight into why they are at odds.

Thekku Vadakku to hit the big screen soon?

The first schedule of the shoot at Muttikulangara in Palakkad began on April 6, and they are almost done filming the remaining scenes. Fans of the actors therefore anticipate the movie to have a theatrical release soon, probably during the Onam season.

The film has generated a lot of excitement since it was first announced because it stars two actors who are renowned for both their comedic timing and their versatility in a variety of roles. Before the title fades in, viewers can see the actors glaring at each other and making faces in the most recent teaser for the film.

The film is being directed by Prem Sankar. The movie's script was written by S Hareesh, who previously wrote the scripts for Churuli, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, and Jallikattu. The inspiration for Thekku Vadakku is his short story Rathri Kaaval. The cast of the movie includes Melvin Babu, James Parakkal, Balan Palakkal, Shameer Khan, Kottayam Ramesh, and Merin Jose. The movie was financed by Anjana Philip and V A Shrikumar under the auspices of Anjana Talkies and VARS Studios.
