The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Thekku Vadakku, have released its trailer a week ahead of its release. On September 20, the comedy drama, starring Vinayakan and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the major roles, will be released in theatres. The film would be shown in theatres alongside Biju Menon's Kadha Innuvare if it is released on the scheduled date.

The trailer for the movie provides an insight into the lives of Madhav and Shangunni, two middle-aged men who have been at odds with one another for more than 30 years over a land dispute. But after the encounter, a humorous sequence of events transpires. The two-minute and 11-second clip also shows some of the emotional moments that result from the families of the two people attempting to deal with all the hardships brought on by this court dispute. 

Overall, the movie promises to be an entertaining family drama when it opens in theatres. The inclusion of two actors who are renowned for their comic timing and versatility in a variety of roles in the teaser adds to the buzz surrounding the movie.

Suraj and Vinayakan in Thekku Vadakku

Two middle-aged men, portrayed by these two actors, are seen to be at conflict with one another in each of the film's trailer glances, indicating a light-hearted and enjoyable viewing experience. Before the title fades in, viewers can see the characters in the most recent teaser for the film making faces and staring at each other. 

The film is being directed by Prem Sankar. This script is written by S Hareesh, who has authored scripts for Lijo Jose Pellissery directorials- Churuli, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, and Jallikattu. The film's cast includes Shameer Khan, Kottayam Ramesh, James Parakkal, Balan Palakkal, Melvin Babu, and Merin Jose. Thekku Vadakku is financially supported by Anjana Philip and V A Shrikumar, under the banners of Anjana Talkies and VARS Studios.
