Season 3 of the critically acclaimed HBO series The White Lotus is nearly here, and a new promotional video introduces some new faces to the Thai hotel where the action takes place. With the phrase "what happens in Thailand stays in Thailand" playing over the show's second-long glimpse in the quick reel, you know things are going to be crazier than ever. The lineup series showcases Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey, while we also catch a glimpse of Belinda, Natasha Rothwell's character from Season 1, making a brief comeback. We can see the joy on their faces, but we also know that their vacation plans will quickly go south because the titular resort company is notorious for negative experiences.

Return of Belinda and Season 2 recap

Production on the much-anticipated comeback of Mike White's anthology series has been in full swing for quite some time. Even though Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya McQuoid's murder in the second season isn't a spoiler for those who watched it more than a year ago, Rothwell's return as Belinda is sure to win over viewers. In case you forgot, Belinda was the spa manager at the resort in Hawaii during the first season. Tanya ultimately ghosted Belinda by season's end after promising her a business of her own, which largely screwed her over. Best wishes go out to the wellness guru in Thailand, even if the viewers don't know what the future holds for her.

The White Lotus will continue its tradition of bringing in an absolutely packed roster of well-known faces for Season 3, with the exception of Rothwell. Aimee Lou Wood, Christian Friedel, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Dom Hetrakul, Carrie Coon, and Patrick Schwarzenegger are among the several names listed on the call sheet with Isaacs and Posey.

More affluent people will make poor choices and let their money speak for itself in the third part of the show. In keeping with the show's usual formula of visiting breathtaking locations, the action will take place in Thailand this time around. 

In 2022, during Season 2 of The White Lotus, White expressed his belief that the third season could offer a satirical and humorous perspective on death, Eastern religion, and spirituality. Doing another round at White Lotus seems like it may be a rich tapestry. Based on the gathered information, it seems that the next installment will follow this precise trajectory.
