Anupam Kher is set for his 525th film - 'The Signature.' The film is the heartbreaking story of an ordinary man who learns about his wife's disease from a terminal illness. The film will skip the theatrical release and will directly start streaming on the OTT platform. Ahead of its release, the makers of the film have now unveiled a new, heartbreaking promo.

In the new promo released by the makers today, on October 1, we can see Anupam Kher fighting for his wife while taking out his anger on a man telling him that one day everyone is supposed to get old and we should not forget that. The video then takes us to a beautiful scene where the actor, along with his family, including his kids are enjoying life and are happy. The video also has a beautiful song that’s playing in the background.
Sharing the promo, the streaming platform captioned it: "Hug your older loved ones and remind them they’re still treasured. Old is indeed gold, and their shine makes our world brighter! The Signature premieres 4th October on #ZEE5."

The Signature also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Neena Kulkarni, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Joshi, and Annu Kapoor in important parts. The film is an official remake of the 2013 Marathi film Anumati starring Vikram Gokhale. Gajendra Ahire, who directed the original film has helmed the remake as well.
The narrative of the film revolves around an ordinary middle-class elderly man who is shattered when his wife suffers from an illness that might kill her soon. While he does everything that he can to keep her alive, he is also helpless facing multiple challenges.
