Veteran actor Anupam Kher is gearing up for the release of his OTT film, The Signature. The film is a heart-wrenching drama about love, loss, and sacrifice. Helmed by Marathi filmmaker Gajendra Ahire, The Signature is the Hindi remake of the 2013 Marathi film Anumati. The trailer of Kher's film was recently released online. And before its OTT premiere on ZEE5, the streaming platform dropped a poster, which is an introduction to Anupam Kher's character.

ZEE5 dropped a new poster of The Signature featuring Anupam Kher on its Instagram handle. In the Gajendra Ahire directorial, he plays the role of a middle-class man Arvind, who has been married to his wife Madhu for 35 years. The twist in the tale comes when Arvind's wife Madhu falls sick and is placed on a ventilator.

Considering the same, the new poster introduces Anupam Kher as Arvind who is a husband torn between 'love and hope'. The caption to this IG post read: "When his world comes crashing down, the realities of relationships start to unfold for Arvind. How will he cope? (sic)."

In an official statement, Anupam Kher opened up about playing the character of Arvind. The actor said, "In The Signature, I have portrayed a middle-class man, whether in Saaransh, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Sansar, or Salaakhen, I’ve always brought something different to each role. And what makes my character in this film unique is his deep love and devotion toward his wife. Over the years, their relationship evolves beyond just being partners; they have become friends."
