Prabhas is back in form with back-to-back hits in the form of Salaar 1 and Kalki 2898 AD. Well, he is now busy with his latest film The Raja Saab, which is being directed by Maruthi Dasari. This is the first time that Maruthi is directing Prabhas and he has a massive responsibility to make things work at the box office.

Close to 50% of the shoot has been wrapped up and we at OTTplay have already reported that a new schedule would begin in Hyderabad in the last week of August 2024. Well, the latest update is that the key schedule has been wrapped up today.

The schedule went on for almost ten days and key scenes in the film were shot. We have come to know that scenes related to Prabhas and Niddhi Aggarwal were canned in this schedule. Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead and her solo scenes in a specially erected set were also shot by the makers.

People Media Factory is bankrolling this film and a massive set has been erected in Ramoji Film City and the entire shooting is happening there. The Raja Saab is a horror comedy with romance as its backdrop. Touted to be a Pan-India release, The Raja Saab will showcase Prabhas in a very fun avatar after a long time.

Director Maruthi has been working on this film for the last two years and has readied a solid subject as per the news. The makers have already announced that The Raja Saab will be out on April 10, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

The pre-release business of this film is happening at a brisk pace and we need to see how Maruthi, who is known to make low-budget films will direct a big star like Prabhas. Everyone is curious to see what Prabhas saw in Maruthi that he handed him such a huge responsibility. 

For now, the key romantic scenes featuring Prabhas, Malavika Mohanan, and Niddhi Aggarwal have been wrapped up by the makers. The post-production is also happening side by side so that the film gets released on time.
