Ishaan Khatter, who made his Bollywood debut opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Dhadak (2018), has recently made his big Hollywood debut with The Perfect Couple. The English series is currently streaming on Netflix. The mystery drama stars Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman. Ishaan portrayed Shooter Dival, who is also the best friend of actor Billy Howle’s character Benji Winbuey. The Perfect Couple is the film adaptation of the 2018 namesake novel of author Elin Hilderbrand.

Ishaan Khatter on his Hollywood debut

While speaking to Bollywood Hungama recently, Ishaan Khatter revealed how he came on board for The Perfect Couple. He said that his manager from the US helped him to audition for the project, which was a self-tape. The production house had a hard deadline, and he was quite nervous about that. The Khali Peeli actor further shared that he's a "greedy" actor, and hence he doesn't leave any opportunity to work in the film industry, whether it's in India or the West.

However, Ishaan gives full credit to himself for cracking the audition for The Perfect Couple and getting the chance to work in Hollywood. He expressed his fear that there was no one to help him with the audition, and he cracked it by absolutely himself. So, he feels proud of him.

While recalling his experience of working with Nicole Kidman, a shy Ishaan revealed that the actress has beautiful hypnotic eyes, and she's quite tall, which mesmerized him. However, Khatter highly appreciates the energy and enthusiasm of Nicole Kidman for work, which he mostly resembles in young actors who are about to make their debut. According to Ishaan, there's only a lot of inspiration to be drawn from Kidman’s personality.
