During promotional activities for the film, Akshay shared insights regarding its central message, the difficulties of embodying an Air Force officer, and the motivations behind accepting this role.

"The key message conveyed in this film is encapsulated in a line: 'They pledge never to leave one of them behind.' This encapsulates the essence of the narrative," Akshay articulated. "The true significance of this statement will become clear after viewing the film."

The narrative emphasizes themes of camaraderie, sacrifice, and the indomitable bond among Air Force members, which Akshay considers a vital lesson for the audience.

Portraying an Air Force officer presented its own unique challenges, and Akshay was acutely aware of the subtleties involved. "The most difficult aspect was the distinctive way an Air Force officer walks. Their posture is quite different, so we had to ensure that I embodied that with authenticity," he stated. "I consistently followed my director’s guidance to achieve the correct portrayal."

Sky Force marks the debut of Veer Pahariya, and Akshay was effusive in his praise for his co-star's performance. "Veer delivers an outstanding portrayal of a soldier. His performance is nuanced and not exaggerated. From the outset of the film, he refrains from displaying any heroism that exceeds his character's requirements," Akshay remarked. "He has effectively represented the relatable individual. What I admire about him is that he did not attempt to exceed what was necessary for his role."

When inquired about his motivation for accepting this role, Akshay promptly emphasized the strength of the narrative. "The entire story was what compelled me to agree to the film," he noted. "It is a type of story I would be eager to be involved in. I appreciated the way the screenplay developed, and it is based on a true story. Having never portrayed an Air Force officer before, it was an exhilarating opportunity. The combination of action with other elements made it even more enticing."

With a blend of action, emotion, and a captivating storyline, Akshay regarded Sky Force as the ideal project that fulfilled all his criteria.
