The Mystery of Moksha Island is the latest web series from Hotstar and has a host of popular stars playing key roles. The survival thriller premiered on September 20, 2024, and started with a very low buzz. As there were zero promotions, not many were aware that such a web series was released in the first place.

The special aspect is that none other than the director of HanuMan, Prasanth Varma has penned the story of the series which was directed by Anish Kuruvilla. The series is about a rich scientist calling his family to a mystery island and asking them to win a task and inherit his property.

But his actual motto is something else and due to this, each one who comes to the island keeps getting killed one after the other. Though the locations, performances, and visuals were top-notch, the audience did not give the series a hit talk. The series is not being discussed on social media now.

Nandu plays the main lead in this series which also has Priya Anand in a key role. Hotstar spent a decent money on this series which has great camerawork. The eight-episode series is now streaming on Hotstar but has failed to evoke much interest.

The makers also left a lead for the second season but by the looks of it, that will hardly be made. Hostar was in the news as some great Telugu web series like Daya, Save The Tigers, and many other shows ended up as a big hit. But The Mystery of Moksha Island has disappointed one and all due to its poor narration. Watch this space for more updates.
