Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, the recently released Tamil film starring Vijay Antony in the lead role, is now available for streaming. The action drama can be streamed on Prime Video within two weeks of its release.

Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan is an action-drama film which hit big screens on August 2. Directed by Vijay Milton, the film stars Vijay Antony in the lead role. Following its two weeks of theatrical screening, the film is now available on Prime Video to stream.

The film revolves around a man named Salim, who gets dropped by Indian secret agency officer at Andaman Islands to live a unanimous life. There he rescues a puppy and befriends its owner, and gets acquainted to few other people who get troubled by a local don.

It is to be noted that when Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, an animated prologue was screened in theatres, which gave the backdrop of the protagonist. Director Vijay Milton had claimed that it was added without his knowledge and that prelude would kill the suspense of the film. He had requested audience to not consider the clip which has been subsequently removed from the film. The streaming version does not have prologue.

Apart from Vijay Antony, the film also stars actors Sathyaraj, Megha Akash, Daali Dhananjaya, Murali Sharma, Saranya Ponvannan, Pruthvi Ambaar, Thalaivasal Vijay and many others.

The technical crew of Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan includes Vijay Antony and Achu Rajamani scoring the music together, while KL Praveen is the editor. Arusamy is the art director and stunts are coordinated by Supreme Sundar and Mahesh Mathew. The film is two hours and 7 minutes long.

Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan opened to mixed reviews upon its release. “While the screenplay is fast-paced, the lack of character depth and unreal character arcs may leave you wanting more,” reads OTTplay review of the film.
