Thalapathy Vijay is joining hands with hitmaker Venkat Prabhu for his next outing, The Greatest Of All Time. The movie, touted to be an action-packed thriller, marks the crowd-puller's 68th outing in the Tamil film industry. As reported earlier, the project, which is also called The GOAT, completed its censor board formalities a few days back, and bagged a U/A certificate. However, the latest updates suggest that the Vijay starrer got censored again.
The Greatest Of All Time gets censored again
As per the latest updates, The Greatest Of All Time went through the censor formalities all over again, due to the addition of an extra footage. The recent reports suggest that the makers of The GOAT have decided to add a small video that has a duration of over three minutes, at the end credits of the film. The newly added footage is expected to showcase the bloopers that were captured while making the film.
Now, the duration of The Greatest Of All Time has been increased into 3 hours and 3 minutes. In that case, the upcoming Venkat Prabhu directorial has now emerged as the second lengthiest film in the career of its leading man Thalapathy Vijay, after Nanban. For the uninitiated, the Shankar directorial, which is an official remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots, had a duration of 3 hours and 8 minutes.
The Greatest Of All Time – Plot, cast and crew
In a recent chat with the media, director Venkat Prabhu revealed The Greatest Of All Time revolves around a fictional anti-terrorist wing of RAW, named SATS, and its old members. The former members reassemble once again to fight against a bigger danger, and Thalapathy Vijay plays the most skilled agent of the team. Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer appear as his teammates.
From The GOAT trailer, it is safe to assume that Thalapathy Vijay’s second character in the film is the son of the protagonist. Sneha appears in the role of the senior character’s wife in the film, while Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the love interest of the junior. Jayaram, Mohan, Lalila, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaran, Vaibhav, Yugendran, and others appear in the supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music. Siddhartha Nuni and Venkat Raajen handle the cinematography and editing, respectively.
