Venkat Prabhu on Sivakarthikeyan's cameo in The GOAT

Venkat Prabhu and Vijay joined forces for The GOAT, which is currently running in theatres. At a crucial juncture in the film's climax, actor Sivakarthikeyan made an appearance. Speaking about this, Venkat Prabhu opened up about the improvisations both actors did for the scene. For the unversed, the scene includes Vijay's Gandhi asking Sivakarthikeyan to keep an eye on the villain (Mohan) who is held captive in one of the washrooms and passing him his gun, as the former goes out to save the rest. The scene is also laced with the idea of Vijay passing over the cinematic baton to Sivakarthikeyan, as Vijay is all set to start the political journey.

What did Venkat Prabhu say?

Speaking about this, Venkat Prabhu in a promo of his ZEE Tamil interview said, "It is such a big thing. Siva is a fanboy of Vijay sir and loves him so much. What I asked him to give the gun and another dialogue. But it was Vijay sir who said "thuppaki" (Vijay's film), and that all is in his hands. To that, Sivakarthikeyan also would have handled very well when he says he will take care of things here while he (Vijay) will look after bigger issues.”

Venkat Prabhu praised the camaraderie between both the actors and also revealed that there is a scene between Mohan and Sivakarthikeyan, which is deleted from the main picture but will be released soon.

The GOAT is currently running in theatres. The action drama also features Sneha, Prashanth, Mohan, Prabhu Deva, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and others.
