The GOAT- Greatest of All Time, the Vijay-starrer film which released recently in theatres, is gearing up for its OTT release. The film is all set to premiere on October 3 on Netflix, the streaming platform announced on social media on Tuesday.

The GOAT- The Greatest Of All Time was released in theatres on September 5. The film starring Vijay in the lead role, is directed by filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. The GOAT is now all set to make its OTT debut soon. Netflix announced that The GOAT will begin streaming on the platform on October 3. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
The GOAT is an action drama, in which Vijay plays dual roles. The film revolves around former SATS agent Gandhi, who suffers through a personal loss during one of his assignments in Thailand. However, this changes his life permanently and after years of resigning his post, the past comes back to haunt Gandhi.

The GOAT is helmed by Venkat Prabhu in his first collaboration with Vijay. Venkat Prabhu has managed to bring in stars who ruled the 90s, to feature in The GOAT. Apart from Vijay, the film also stars Prabhudheva, Mohan, Prashanth, Laila, and Sneha. The film also features usual suspects of Venkat Prabhu films like Vaibhav and Premgi. Actors Yogi Babu, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ajmal Amir, Parvati Nair, Jayaram Yugendran Vasudevan and Akilan.

The film is bankrolled by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment (P) Ltd. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with Siddhartha Nuni cranking the camera. Venkat Raajen is the editor of the film. Venkat Prabhu has penned the dialogues along with Viji.
The GOAT also features cameo appearances by Trisha and Sivakarthikeyan. The film received mixed responses upon its release.
