The creators of The Family Man have officially greenlit a third season after two successful runs, featuring Manoj Bajpayee. Filming for The Family Man 3, which includes Manoj and Sharib Hashmi, kicked off earlier this year. Fans have been eagerly anticipating news about when the show will drop on Amazon Prime Video. In a recent chat with OTTplay, Sharib, who portrays JK Talpade, shared some insights about how things are progressing with the project.

Sharib Hashmi gives us the latest scoop on The Family Man 3.

Sharib Hashmi hasn't officially announced when The Family Man 3 will drop, but he's optimistic it could be out next year. He mentioned, "I'm hoping The Family Man season 3 will be ready next year. I can't say exactly when, not even I know. Right now, we're in the final stages of filming. We should finish shooting by the end of December, and then they'll share the release date."

Sharib shared that he's super excited to see how the audience reacts to the Raj & DK show. "I have no idea when it’s coming out, but I’m really looking forward to watching it with everyone. I can’t wait to see their reactions to the third season because we put in a lot of effort this time," he said.

In the upcoming season, Sharib will be back as JK, while Manoj will return as Srikant Tiwari. This new season is set to show Srikant dealing with a serious national security threat while juggling his personal life. "As Srikant races against time, the stakes get higher as he has to outsmart a tough enemy to safeguard his country and its sovereignty," the creators mentioned.

Sharib Hashmi is gearing up for his next project, Khoj, where he'll be acting alongside Anupriya Goenka. The series is set to premiere on ZEE5 on December 27, 2024.
